Completion of 30 CEUs in an approved basic coaching skills workshop from Coach4Nutrition or an equivalent program.
Completion of a 500 hour, 50 CEU internship with a qualified practitioner.
Certification candidates please note:
Only NTCW-approved instructors and programs are approved by NCB to provide CEUs for the Professional Practices, Professional Ethics, Informed Consent Forms, and Coaching blueprint requirements.
Due to changes in its programs, as of summer 2011 NTCW now requires that students take Professional Practices, Professional Ethics, and Informed Consent Forms as prerequisites for Coaching; therefore coaching can no longer be taken as a stand-alone class.
Those NTCW courses that are offered free of charge and do not carry CEUs do not fulfill NCB blueprint requirements. Only those NTCW classes which carry CEUs qualify.
